• Every child has the chance to compete in a mini world cup in their school , and to work for 2 weeks in classes to find out more about languages, cultures and the diverse nature of our world. The aim is to raise £1 from each Newbattle pupil , which would allow a child in Africa to go to school for 1 Month.
• All children in school will sign a world cup scarf and on last day of term it will be sent off to the Prime Minister so that he receives one from all of the 8670 schools taking part. The message to him is "Send my Friend to school"-1 Goal. All world leaders meet to discuss this late this year.
• On the day of our mini world cup (25th June) will be a joggy Friday --sports kit to be worn--£1 to be paid , all money to the project
