Friday 11th - Long jump Girls C

Rachel Robertson  S3-   1st        Rachel jumped 3 PBs to win. Her winning jump was 5.09. Rachel is now the Scottish Schools Champion for Long Jump Champion Girls C

Megan Fleming S4 -      16th      Megan jumped a season best of 4.25

High Jump Girls D

Katie Robertson S3 -     2nd    Katie was a fabulous 2nd place in the high jump with a high of  1.40.

Pole Vault Boys D

Gareth Fleming S3 -      1st    Gareth vaulted a PB at height of 2.30.  Gareth is now the Scottish Schools Champion for Pole Vault Boys D in his first season of pole vault

  Saturday 12th -  100mters

None of the girls made the final due to a very high standard, however it was only 100th of seconds that kept them out of a final. All ran very well

Megan Fleming S4-       Ran a PB in time of 14.08

Rachel Robertson S4-    Threw a distance of 19.79  

Javelin Boys D

Gareth Fleming S3 -     1st   Gareth's throw of 33.68 was a PB to win.  Gareth is now the Scottish Schools Champion for Javelin

High Jump Boys D

Gareth Fleming S3 -     4th  Gareth jumped a height of 1.40,

On a different note of success. Both Megan Fleming S4 and Rachel Robertson S3 were part of the Lasswade Athletic Club Girls Indoor 2010 season team who won Team GOLDat the Kelvin Hall and are now the Scottish Indoor Team Champions and then followed this up on the same day with a Bronze medal in the Scottish 4 X 200mts Relay Indoor championships. As a result of this the team has been awarded the Midlothian Council team achievement award.
